Handwoven from nine carefully selected colours of luxurious 60/2 spun mulberry silk, this exquisite scarf is created using a double weave, two-block structure. As each coloured warp thread intersects with different coloured weft threads, the silk produces an ever-changing mosaic of vibrant hues, subtle blends and unexpected colour combinations. No printed fabric could ever achieve the same depth and complexity.
One of the most fascinating features of this scarf is its reversible nature. Thanks to the double weave construction, each side displays a distinctly different arrangement of colours and pattern, giving you two beautiful looks in a single piece. Turn it over and you'll discover an entirely new interplay of light, colour and geometric design.
Despite its intricate construction, the exceptionally fine mulberry silk gives the scarf a wonderfully soft handle, elegant drape and a gentle lustre that catches the light beautifully. Lightweight enough for warmer days, yet warm enough to add comfort on cooler evenings, it is a versatile accessory for every season.
Measuring a generous 15½ inches (39 cm) wide and 73½ inches (187 cm) long, this scarf offers endless styling possibilities, whether worn loosely over the shoulders, wrapped snugly around the neck, or draped elegantly with a favourite outfit.
Each scarf is woven entirely by hand in my Surrey Hills studio, making every piece a unique work of textile art.

Caring for Your Scarf
To keep your scarf looking its best, gently hand wash in warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly and dry flat. If needed, finish with a light steam iron to restore its smooth drape and natural silk lustre.
Handmade with Care
The Kaleidoscope in Nine scarf is woven entirely by hand on a traditional loom. As with all genuine handwoven textiles, you may occasionally find tiny variations or slight irregularities in the weaving. These are not faults but a hallmark of the handmade process, reflecting the care, skill and individuality that goes into creating each unique piece.
