S17 Spinning Wheel
The budget spinning wheel S17 is designed for the aspiring new spinner. There are two versions - one has a double treadle, and one a single treadle.
To keep the price more affordable, we offer it unfinished and largely made from laminated birch. The wood is sanded and the edges are rounded, so it only requires a finish with a lacquer, stain or wax. 
​In 2024, Louët added a double treadle version of the S17 The wheel comes as a kit requiring some assembly, a flyer with sliding guides, a lazy kate and three bobbins , The technical specifications are the same as the IrT version of the S10 Concept, so all S10 flyers and bobbins will fit your wheel.​
