You can use this threading hook to pass the leader or yarn through the sliding wire guides and orifice of a flyer. With most of our flyers you can easily insert the yarn by without the assistance of a threading hook. 
The wire hook comes standard with Scotch Tension high speed spin set, since that spin set has small wire guides and a very small orifice (Ø5 mm).
