Frensham Ponds handwoven by me cotton cushion cover, in either red or blue/lilac.
The structure of the weave is called "name drafting" where each letter is assigned to a shaft on the loom and then this creates the pattern. In this case, I have used the words Frensham Ponds.
I have picked out yellow for the sands surrounding the ponds and blue for the ponds themselves, with red and lilac representing the heather which grows profusely around the ponds, amongst the trees.
Each cushion cover has a cotton back which is fastned with buttons.
The cushion pad is a uk made duck feather filled pad 45 x45 cm
